Shark Camp 2013 was a two week Summer Camp and internship for local teens run by the Irish Basking Shark Study Group and funded by the Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP). The two week camp in Malin Head, Co Donegal was designed to give interns a taste of marine biology, conservation and resource management. The interns also looked at ways to disseminate knowledge and ideas to a public forum by using social media, blogging, podcasts and video messages. The interns produced this short animated video message https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWm12zVPpLk for their community in Malin Head on the importance of treasuring our natural marine resources.
