Outreach Consultation Process Launched.

The Inishowen based basking shark group’s research studies have always been accompanied by parallel outreach programs aimed at making their research more accessible and useful to the local communities in which the research is undertaken (Monster Munch, Depth Charge, Shark Camp, Shark Spotting projects  and more…).  As they prepare to launch a number of new research projects in 2018 the group are seeking the opinion of young people in our community on how the group can best reach out to the community and give the research meaningful value locally.

The group will be visiting the five secondary schools on Inishowen during the next two weeks to listen to young people’s opinion about making our new research projects more accessible.  If you are from Inishowen and aged between 14 and 17 years old and would like to get involved in our research and or training programs get in touch with us via facebook or website email links.
